After Sales, Warranty & Service.
We offer options on our Extended Warranty and Service, and an Equipment Standard Warranty. We also provide Service outside of Warranty coverage.


Level 5 Extended Warranty & Service.
Additional Warranty and Service is offered at multiple coverage term options beyond the standard TWO-year warranty term.
Purchase an Annual Service Plan (per piece of Level5 Equipment).
- Can be purchased from the date of delivery but for a maximum duration of 8-years after the legal warranty period of 2-years; i.e. maximum total duration is 10 years from date of delivery (after which maintenance and service is ad-hoc only).
- Service plan must be purchased within 2 years (date of delivery of the Level5 Equipment).
- In the event the warranty period has expired, and at the discretion of Snap- on Industrial a service contract MAY be offered if an onsite inspection of the Level5 Equipment is performed and the unit is operating at original performance specifications.
Purchase Ad-hoc Maintenance & Service (cost per hour).
- Includes travel costs.
- Excludes parts.
What is included
1-year Contract, with cost per piece of Level5 Equipment, which includes:
- Travel and Labour
- Electronic Parts
- Equipment Annual inspection (full details below)
- Incremental software updates only within the major version purchased
- Free installation of purchased hardware and software additions
What is included in the Level5 Equipment Annual Inspection:
- System full operational check
- Dot strips – check condition, clean or replace if required
- System mirror – check condition and clean *
- Card reader – check operation *
- Monitor – check condition and calibrate *
- Power supply – check condition *
- External USB connections – check operation *
- Aerials – check condition and replace as required
- Box operation – check functionality, including draw runners and interlocks *
- LED light strips – check and replace if more than 30% defective or flickering
- Battery models – check batteries and charging bay for secure fit, charging and operation *
- System top – check camera condition and clean*
- Electronic Lock – check operation of electronic lock and adjust as required *
- Software – check functionality
- Foam – check condition of foam *
* if replacement required at cost of customer
What is excluded
- Maintenance or repair of Equipment which was misused in violation of the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Maintenance or repair of Equipment which was modified without Snap-on’s approval or serviced by a Third-party.
- Maintenance or repair of Equipment which is operating in an incompatible information technology environment.
- Tool box, covered under Snap-on standard warranty available in the latest Snap-on Industrial Catalog at http://snaponindustrialcatalog.com/
- Foam replacement.
- Upgrade to a major software release.
Customer Obligations
- Only use the Equipment in accordance with Snap-on instructions and to perform necessary maintenance and care as outlined in the user manual https://l5atc.myportallogin.com/.
- Ensure Snap-on personnel have access to the Equipment during normal business hours (or as otherwise agreed).
- Snap-on must be provided with remote access, or relevant authorisation of permanent annual badge access, with vehicle to guarantee the timescale of the service.
- Customer must provide a contact person for each piece of Level5 Equipment.
- Customer must notify Snap-on immediately of any faults or malfunctions of the Equipment.

Level 5 Equipment Standard Warranty.
The Standard Warranty term for Level5 equipment is two Years (as outlined in the Snap-on Industrial Standard Terms and Conditions and the Level5 Software License Agreement).
Repair of Level5 Equipment may include some or all of the following elements, at Snap- on’s election and expense: Remote or on-site troubleshooting by a qualified technician; Parts, Labour, Travel necessary for repair; Installation of software
updates.
Standard warranty to Level5 Equipment applies to defective workmanship and materials that Snap-on will repair or replace. Snap-on does not warrant Level5 Equipment against acts of nature, abuse, improper maintenance, theft or incompatible information technology environments.

Service outside of Warranty Coverage.
Repair service that is outside Warranty coverage will be charged on a time and material basis along with applicable site charges. Snap-on may offer customer an opportunity to purchase additional warranty via an annual service plan following an on-site visit from a designated representative of Snap-on.
